Trina Griffin Owner and Executive Director of Rising-Reels. Trina is a graduate from Shoreline Community College. Owner of Trina Studios Production. She created the company to offer underserved BIPOC children the opportunity to learn the art of filmmaking. She has been working in the film community since 1998. She has worked here in Seattle and in California in roles as producer, first assistant director, grip, production assistant, set designer, editor, actor, writer, make-up artist, and production coordinator on Feature productions as Poppies: Odyssey of an Opium Eater by David Bertelsen, Spaceship Terror by Harry Tchinski, viewing on Amazon Prime and Short film productions as Jameson by John Humber and Period by Debra Pralle at 2018 & 2019 HollyShorts Festival. She currently is the Director of the Seattle Film Summit FilmFreeway Festival and the Director of coordinating the volunteers for the Seattle Film Summit Event since 2016. She has a dream to bring a strong thriving film industry to the Seattle area and inspire future filmmakers.
